Recently, the Ministry of Education announced the results of the 9th Scientific Research Outstanding Achievement Award (Humanities and Social Sciences) for higher education institutions. In this selection, the School of Economics and Management of Southeast University won a total of 6 awards, including 5 second prizes and 1 third prize, which set a record high for the number of awards won by our school!

The Award for Outstanding Achievements in Scientific Research in Colleges and Universities (Humanities and Social Sciences) was established in 1995 by the Ministry of Education to commend the outstanding achievements made by the humanities and social sciences workers in colleges and universities nationwide. It is selected every three years and focuses on the humanities and social sciences in colleges and universities. At the recent time, it is the most credible and influential award in the field of humanities and social sciences in China. A total of 1496 achievements (including achievements of Hong Kong and Macao universities) were awarded in the 9th Scientific Research Outstanding Achievement Awards (Humanities and Social Sciences), including 125 first prizes, 545 second prizes, 602 third prizes, 21 universal reading awards and 203 youth achievement awards.
