The 2020 China Business School Education Ceremony, jointly sponsored by MBAChina and Manager magazine, was successfully held in Beijing on December 23th, 2020.Mr. Zhang Daliang, former Director of the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and Vice President of the China Higher Education Association, was invited to attend the ceremony and delivered a speech. Academician Chen Xiaohong, President of Hunan University Of Technology and Business, delivered a keynote speech.As the highlight of this annual ceremony, the list of "Top 100 Best MBA Programs" of Chinese Business Schools was released. The MBA program of Southeast University ranked 29th in the "Top 100 Best MBA Programs of Chinese Business Schools in 2020", and also won the "Top 10 Best Financial MBA Programs of Chinese Business Schools in 2020" and "Chinese Business Schools Alumni Organization Outstanding Leadership Award in 2020".

The list of "Top 100 Best MBA Programs of Chinese Business Schools" has attracted wide attention from industry insiders and has significant social impact.The ranking was jointly selected by MBAChina and Manager magazine, adhering to the principles of fairness, impartiality, and openness. It took more than 8 months to evaluate more than 200 MBA programs across the country and complete data collection, college declaration, and questionnaire survey.Based on ten evaluation dimensions including faculty strength, course programs, student evaluation, and brand influence, the lists of "Top 100 Best MBA Programs of Chinese Business Schools in 2020" and "Top 10 Best Financial MBA Programs" were finally launched. As completely independent and impartial third-party portal media, MBAChina and Manager magazine have high objectivity, impartiality, and authority in the selection.
At present, there are 246 MBA training institutions in the country. Southeast University is the third batch (approved in 1997) to offer MBA programs. There are 55 MBA training institutions in the first three batches. Relying on the profound background of a century-old famous school, the strong strength of the business major, and the training concept of "Cultivating Quality, Growth, and Development First", Southeast University’s MBA program has always stood in the ranks of excellent MBA training institutions.This selection is a test of our school's MBA running achievements. Our school's MBA program ranks 29th in the country, reflecting the unanimous affirmation from all sectors of society.This is the result of the joint efforts of the previous leaders of the school and the college, as well as all MBA teachers and students. Allowing us to see the gratifying results, this selection has made the gap with our sibling schools clearer in the meantime, with both motivation and pressure.In the future, the MBA program of Southeast University will adhere to the values of "Economic Benefits for the People, Management Checks and Balances", follow the goal-oriented principle, continue to promote reform and innovation, and work hard to further improve the quality of MBA training.

The Fordham Global Finance Master's Program of Southeast University won the "Top 10 Best Financial MBA Programs of Chinese Business Schools in 2020", which was the achievement of our school's MBA internationalization. In 2011, with the care and support of Xu Kangning, Qiu Bin and other teachers, the School of Economics and Management of Southeast University and the Gabelli School of Business of Fordham University reached a cooperation to cultivate "Master of Science in Global Finance". The program accepts MBA students (including graduates) who have been enrolled in our school for more than 1 year to apply for admission. Over the past 10 years, more than 30 MBA students from Southeast University have gone to Fordham University for further study in 8 batches, and all of them have obtained a master's degree in Global finance.

Shao Jinze, an MBA alumnus of Southeast University, won the "Chinese Business School Alumni Organization Outstanding Leadership Award in 2020". Shao Jinze is a 2018 MBA graduate of Southeast University. He was the Vice Chairman of the 11th MBA Federation of Southeast University. He is currently the Vice Chairman of the MBA Venture Capital Club of Southeast University and the Joint Secretary-General of the Jiangsu University Venture Capital Club. As the General Manager of Nanjing Nacai Enterprise Management Consulting Co., Ltd., he has made outstanding achievements in the fields of headhunting consultants and human resources management. The award of Shao Jinze is an affirmation and impetus for the achievements of our alumni at this annual ceremony.

The 2020 China Business School Education Ceremony allows us to perceive the achievements of our sibling schools and witness the glorious moments of outstanding MBA teachers and students. Facing the future, in the context of the 14th Five-Year Plan, how business schools can contribute to China's economic development, and how MBA programs can cultivate more outstanding talents for society in the new era are new challenges for business schools and MBA programs. The MBA program of Southeast University should keep up with the pace of the times and the development trend of business schools, focus on the MBA training goals, cultivate and transport more outstanding talents for society, and make contributions to business education and economic development.
