Hu Ming is a distinguished professor at the University of Toronto and a Professor at the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. He was named to the Poets & Quants list of the world's top 40 business school professors under 40 in 2018. In 2017, he won the Best Operations Management Paper Award from Management Science. In 2016, he received the Wickham Skinner Young Research Achievement Award from the Association of Production and Operations Management (POMS). He is currently an Amazon Scholar, Editor-in-Chief of Naval Research Logistics, and Associate/Senior Editor of Management Science, Operations Research, Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, Production and Operations Management.
