To conduct the principle of ideal in Southeast University and not be afraid of difficulties, to conquer the gobi, inherit and surpass, the 16th "Xuanzang Road" Business School Gobi Challenge was launched at the World Heritage Site of Suoyang City, Guazhou County, Jiuquan City, Gansu Provinceon May 2nd. The 4,922 members from 95 teams from 45 participating colleges and universities walked across more than 100 kilometers of gobi to achieve life transcendence during the four-day and three-night journey,following the footsteps of the eminent monk Xuanzang.
The "Ge 16" team of Southeast University was divided into three teams: the EMBA team of the school, the Lao Ge team of Southeast University and the A+ team, with a total of 42 members. In this competition, the EMBA team of Southeast University ranked 32nd, and the Lao Ge team won the 6th place. Southeast University took home the Shackleton Award and the Endeavour Award trophies again and won the Inheritance and Transcendence Award for the first time. The "Ge 16" team members of Southeast University "fought the Gobi again in the name of love", and inherit the competition spirit of "Ideal, Action, Persistence, and Transcendence" by their strength.
The victory of the "Ge 16" team of Southeast University has inspired everyone's confidence. We have reason to believe that the Southeast University team that has experienced the baptism of "Ge 16" will win better results and gain more insights in next year's "Ge 17" competition!
