According to the 2013-2017 member list released by the Ministry of Education(letter [2013] 4), six professors of School of Economics and Management were selected as members of Steering Committee for Colleges and Universities Education. They are Prof Xu Kangning, Prof Zhao Lindu, Prof Zhong WeiJun, Prof Zhou Qin, Prof Zhang Yulin and Prof Liu xiaoxing. Respectively, they act as committee members in Economic and Trade, Management of Logistics and Engineering, Management of Science and Engineering, Economics, Electronic Commerce and Finance, among which Prof Xu Kangning and Prof Zhao Lindu hold the post of deputy director of their relevant profession. This election covers the largest amount of committee members and a wide range of profession, including economy, management and so on. As the highest level of domestic teaching and steering committee, National Steering Committee for Colleges and Universities Education is also one authority organization to evaluate college teaching activity.
